We’ve had a busy few months in fourth class. During September we were studying out local history and learning about maps. We had a wonderful trip down to Burnaby Park and Greystones library. In the park we honed our cartography skills by drawing maps of the park. We enjoyed a wonderful presentation by librarian Geraldine Colgan at Greystones Library.
The Beebots visited our classroom in October and we enjoyed a lesson with our new principal Mrs Ovington. We created mazes and races for the beebots.
Japan has been central to our learning in October. We made beautiful kimono dolls, wrote great reports and learnt how to write and say some Japanese words.
We had great fun on the Friday before the half term some of us dressed up and we really enjoyed the Halloween Country Market!
