1st class had to wait patiently all year before they finally got their chance to do assembly. They were very excited and worked really hard to put together their assembly about bees. They had learned lots about bees during the year and also had made honeycomb and bee tiles with local artist Kate O’Kelly.

The children shared facts about bees and performed a short drama about how we need to look after bees and protect them from climate change, pesticides and humans. They led the prayers and the song as well. The pupils were delighted to receive lots of positive feedback afterwards! Well done 1st class!
