Parents’ Association

Our Parents’ Association aims to enable parents to play their part in supporting Delgany National School. We hold fundraising events throughout the year to try and assist in the budgets available for maintenance and improvements of the school. Updates are sent via class WhatsApp groups and on our Facebook page – DNSPA Noticeboard.

As a Parents’ Association, we promote and encourage the provision of practical and financial assistance to support the educational, recreational, social and other activities of our school.

We endeavor to support activities, which enhance the school experience of each and every pupil and achieve our objectives through a number of practical and social events such as Coffee Mornings, Christmas Market, Book Fair, Football and Golf family days out, Delgany Obstacle Relay Marathon, children’s Christmas cards and our annual main Fundraising night. We sometimes hold an educational evening.

Our Parents’ Association Committee consists of 11 members, elected annually, and we are affiliated to the National Parents’ Council.
