Our Finished Art Project!

Last week 1st class finished their art project with the artist Kate O’Kelly. Over Easter Kate had fired the children’s work in the kiln. She also glazed the tiles and bee hives they had made. On the final day of the project the children got to paint their hexagonal honeycomb shapes and their birds. The results were wonderful! The children have worked hard on their journals as well, recording what they did each week during the project.
