4th Class have had a busy couple of months. As always the two weeks up to the end of term involved plenty of preparation for the carol service. 4th and 3rd class sang beautifully the very catchy ‘Girls and boys’ carol. As well as taking part in an Advent kindness activity, 4th class learned about the 1st Christmas and made the most delicious chocolate truffles. They also created beautiful Christmas cards using old Christmas Cards.

4th Class completed their study of Japan, they finished reading the wonderful book Kensuke’s Kingdom by Michael Morpurgo and they recreated Hokusai’s wave using paint and pastels.

In history they explored what life was like for children in 19th century schools and had great fun working in groups to create dioramas of 19th century schoolrooms.

We look forward to continuing our learning in 2020!
