May was a crazy month in Junior Infants. We had water and hopscotch activities with Ms Senior, scooter training, DORM, a visit from Dr Emma Stringer (engineer) and Nurse Dee but the highlight of our month has probably been the arrival of four tiny black caterpillars to our classroom. We have watched them grow and change into chrysalides (or chrysalises!) and now we are patiently waiting for them to continue their metamorphosis into ‘Painted Lady’ butterflies!
