The children in Delgany National School had a busy Maths Week this October. Each class went outside and completed a Maths Trail with their class. It was great to see so many of the children exploring our school through their ‘Maths Eyes!’.
Junior and Senior Infants were busy trying ‘Mad Maths’ stations and had great fun learning through play-based Maths.
First Class went off to explore Delgany Fairy Trail. The children counted steps (47 of them!), fairy houses (twenty something of them!) and fairies (none of those unfortunately!) They did have lots of fun though!
The Senior classes signed up to Mangahigh Maths and enjoyed the online challenges for the week.
