This month we completed our whole school literacy project. This year’s theme was poetry and rhyme. We combined this with our January theme of winter. 2nd Class learned to rap a song called, ‘Rap Up Warm for Winter’, wrote winter acrostics and haiku poetry & also wrote their own version of a poem entitled, ‘A Recipe for Winter’. These are on display in the GP Hall.
We also had fun making cross stitch winter bookmarks.
