Friendship Week took place across our school in February. 1st class read the book ‘Have you filled a bucket today?’ and enjoyed cooperative games in the hall. They also watched the animated version of the story ‘Giraffes Can’t Dance’. Following this they discussed how each of us are different and we all have different strengths and talents. They discussed how we can respect others and get along, even though we are all different. In response to the story the pupils created gorgeous giraffe collages for a display for Friendship Week.
