Rang a Cúig had a busy end to a successful first term!
The children put a huge amount of time and effort into creating, illustrating and writing their own picture books. It was lovely to see all the different creative and artistic skills being put to good use. The children then acted as Author in Residence and read their picture books aloud to their Senior Infant buddies.
Rang a Cúig greatly enjoyed a visit from author Emma Cahill whose own picture book ‘Under The Mask’ proved very popular.
Thanks to Kieran O’Riordan from Microsoft, the class solved Minecraft challenges during The Hour of Code on the new DNS ipads.
