First class have enjoyed some special treats in DNS in the run up to Christmas. The on line Christmas panto and The Nativity Trail were thoroughly enjoyed by one and all not to mention dressing up, rehearsing and recording the Christmas poem!
The children felt they too would like to impart some festive cheer so they wrote Christmas postcards to the residents of one of the local Nursing Homes. They told jokes and sent ‘Merry Christmas’ messages. Ms Prole and Ms Quinn were very pleased and felt sure that the cheery postcards would brighten up the day of those receiving them.
The children and their parents recently tapped in to their Christmas creativity to produce some very fine Christmas decorations re-using items from round the house. Check out these AMAZING pieces of art! Any Christmas tree would be delighted to show these off!
It’s been a long busy term incorporating changes and new procedures but the children have embraced the challenges with aplomb and they have made Ms Quinn and Ms Prole very proud indeed!
