Celebrate Books Day

On Friday June 4^th we had our ‘Celebrate Books Day’. Ms Prole did a special Assembly all about books, and she gave us all a ‘Share a Story’ reading challenge for the month of June. The children could dress up as their favourite book characters for the day. As always they did an amazing job! It was very difficult for the judges to choose just one winner from each class so well done to everyone who took part. The winners all chose a book as a prize. This was kindly sponsored by our wonderful PA. The sun shone, the day coincided with our €2 Ice-cream Day and a good time was had by all!
