6th class were very fortunate to have the opportunity to plant a bumblebee garden outside the classroom this week with help from Tanya and Jackie. The plants that have been planted have been specifically chosen to attract bumblebees. Bumblebees are a very important part of the ecosystem and and unfortunately the numbers of bumblebees are declining every year. Hopefully our garden will blossom over the summer months and be a haven for the bees in our area!
