In 4th class we have had a busy few months. We began our coding lessons by creating Milo, the space rover and learnt all about how we explore places we cannot go to easily. While doing Milo, we learnt how to work as a team, how a pully system works and how to code using our Wedo Lego kits. This month, we explored friction through coding another pulling robot. We then changed lots of the wheels to explore which made it go faster and if different surfaces changed the speed or friction. We finished by having a race! We will be doing lots more projects on this during the year.
We learnt a lot about famous Irish landmarks when we worked in groups to create a project which we presented to the rest of our class.
We created some amazing clay monster in art. We got very creative in our design and colours that we chose.
